Job summary

FMS Group in Mackay, Queensland is seeking a Systems Analyst / Applications Consultant to drive system improvements across core business applications. You will work with stakeholders, software vendors, and end users to deliver solutions that streamline processes and support growth.

You will manage end-to-end implementations, lead API integrations, coordinate UAT, and produce technical documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering system implementations and integration solutions within medium to large organisations.
• Experience with data migration, data cleansing, and system cutovers.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data exchange methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience developing technical documentation and business process maps.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software implementation projects from planning through to Go Live.
• Liaise with software vendors and evaluate new technologies, enhancements, and version updates prior to release.
• Lead system configuration activities and integration planning for business-critical applications.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate issue resolution.
• Develop and customise forms, reports, and system functionality to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in system integrations and API connectivity.
• Coordinate end-user training and develop supporting training resources.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create process documentation, technical reports, and system support materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across business systems and processes.
