Job summary

Field Mining Services in Mackay & Coalfields is seeking a Systems Analyst / Applications Consultant to drive implementation, integration, and optimization of key business systems across Payroll, Finance, and Asset Management.

You will work with vendors, coordinate UAT, create training materials, and help streamline processes to support growth, with a focus on Acumatica ERP and Azure environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering system implementations and integrations in medium to large organisations.
• Experience with data migration, cleansing, and cutovers.
• Strong API and data exchange knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate to solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software implementation projects from planning through to Go Live.
• Liaise with software vendors and evaluate new technologies, enhancements, and version updates prior to release.
• Lead system configuration activities and integration planning for business-critical applications.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate issue resolution.
• Develop and customise forms, reports, and system functionality to meet business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in system integrations and API connectivity.
• Coordinate end-user training and develop supporting training resources.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Create process documentation, technical reports, and system support materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across business systems and processes.
