Job summary

Pinaka seeks an ISANO Systems Engineer in Canberra to join the Land Network Integration Centre, Symonston, ACT, on a full-time onsite basis. The role will establish the national ISA office and drive prototyping across ISA-enabled networks.

The successful candidate will lead requirements, design readiness reviews, risk management, and governance, providing technical authority and strategic direction to ISANO and LNIC. NV1 clearance is required with potential upgrade.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Systems Engineering qualifications and significant professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• 15 years of Industry experience in Project Management, preferably in ICT environments.
• Bachelor degree (4 years or higher postgraduate) in a relevant engineering discipline suitable to achieve membership of the Institution of Engineers or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AMP06006 Stage 2 Systems Engineering Management Plan and Test and Evaluation Master Plan, including needs, requirements and test plans for the prototyping activity.
• Prepare and undertake requirements, design and test readiness reviews associated with the ISA prototyping activity.
• Engage with external engineering and technical stakeholders to understand technology solutions and frame ISA strategic direction and outcomes.
• Oversee engineering process alignment and governance across ISANO product lines in accordance with LNIC, Army and CASG engineering policies.
• Support the ISANO Project Manager with written reports and presentations, including fortnightly project status reports and monthly project situation reports.
• Provide technical support and engineering advice to ISANO and other areas of LNIC.
