Job summary

Defence Australia in Canberra seeks an ISANO Systems Engineer to drive the national ISA prototyping activity within the Land Network Integration Centre. You will develop plans, manage requirements, and support governance for ISA integration across Land networks, with a focus on security and compliance.

Onsite work preferred, with limited remote options. You will influence design authority, coordinate with external stakeholders, and provide engineering advice across multiple teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Systems Engineering qualifications and significant professional experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Demonstrate extensive industry experience in ICT projects with a strong systems engineering background.
• Hold or be eligible for NV1 security clearance and maintain it throughout the contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain engineering plans, requirements, and test plans for ISA prototyping.
• Undertake design reviews and test readiness activities for ISA prototyping.
• Engage stakeholders to define ISA strategy and ensure governance across ISANO product lines.
• Provide technical support and engineering advice to ISANO and LNIC teams.
• Identify and manage technical risks and produce technical artefacts and reports.
