Job summary

DroneShield is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Sydney-based product development team. You will contribute to the development of current and future generation products through requirements elicitation, analysis, and management in collaboration with engineering teams.

You should have a degree in engineering with 2+ years of systems engineering experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in systems engineering within complex product development.
• Experience managing requirements for software/hardware products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver quality products with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Perform complex analysis and trade studies to guide system concepts.
• Support project deliverables by keeping teams informed of milestones.
• Manage design requirements and test strategies, focusing on integration testing.
• Communicate technical concepts and risks with stakeholders.
• Ensure continuous product improvement and seamless system integration.
• Identify and manage technical, product, and project risks.
• Develop systems engineering processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
