Job summary

DroneShield is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Sydney-based product development team. You will work under the Systems Engineering Lead, performing requirements elicitation, analysis and management to help deliver current and future generation products with autonomy and accountability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of systems engineering in complex product development.
• Solid understanding of SE frameworks, principles and tools.
• Experience with requirements management for software/hardware products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver quality products and features across product lines.
• Conduct complex analysis and trade studies to guide system concepts.
• Collaborate with Product and Project Management on milestones and metrics.
• Document system design, requirements and test strategies, including integration testing.
• Communicate technical concepts and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continual product and system interface alignment and improvements.
• Identify and manage technical, product and project risks.
• Support development of SE processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.
