DroneShield seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build the Linux-based foundations that enable engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure products.

This hands-on role covers reliability engineering, platform security, observability, and developer enablement. You will advance automation, Go tooling, and reusable patterns across multiple products and teams, driving operational excellence and secure-by-default platform solutions.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help build the foundations that enable DroneShield's engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable and secure products. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Linux platforms, reliability engineering, observability, automation, developer enablement and platform security. You will play a key role in delivering security-focused engineering initiatives across DroneShield's product and internal platforms, helping ensure our systems remain secure, resilient and operationally effective. The role combines deep technical problem solving with a strong engineering mindset. One day you may be troubleshooting low-level Linux performance issues, the next building Go-based tooling, improving platform observability, designing reusable service patterns, or helping teams adopt reliable operational practices.

Success in this role comes from balancing immediate delivery with long-term maintainability, creating solutions that are not only effective but repeatable, scalable and easy for teams to consume.
