Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Solutions in Eagle Farm, QLD, is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to own Microsoft infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory and Azure. You will work with Junior Engineers, lead projects, and ensure security and reliability across the environment.

The role emphasizes virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/OLVM), Microsoft 365 and Defender, and requires 5+ years in similar roles. This fixed-term contract offers a 40-hour week and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer with a Microsoft focus
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Azure
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Teams, Exchange Online and SharePoint
• Understanding IT security, infrastructure resilience and best practices
• Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving complex technical issues
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V and/or OLVM
• Networking, Citrix/RDS and SQL Server knowledge desirable
• Microsoft certifications are highly desirable

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and collaborate across IT teams

• $125k - $140k base salary + superannuation (Pro rata)
• Flexible start time 6am – 2.30pm, 7am – 3.30pm or 8am – 4.30pm

Based in Eagle Farm, this family-owned Australian business is a key supplier to the building and construction industry and manufacturer a variety of window and door products.

Reporting to the Systems Team Lead you’ll take ownership of Microsoft infrastructure across Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365. Working with (3) Junior Engineers The role has a strong infrastructure/engineering focus, including virtualisation, security, architecture and technical problem solving.

Experience & Qualifications

• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V and/or OLVM
• Working knowledge of networking, Citrix/RDS and SQL Server/RDBMS is desirable
• Relevant Microsoft or industry certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or MCSE are highly desirable
