Job summary

City of Moreton Bay in Narangba is seeking a Systems and Data Lead - Operations to provide leadership across operational technology platforms, data governance, reporting and business improvement.

You will guide an outcomes-driven team, evaluate requirements, prioritise enhancements, and drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to support service delivery, excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and improving enterprise systems and operational technologies.
• Strong capability in reporting, dashboards, performance metrics and analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance, asset management and operational service delivery.
• Experience delivering system implementations and managing technology vendors.

As a Systems and Data Lead - Operations, you will provide specialist leadership, technical expertise and strategic direction across operational technology platforms, data governance, reporting and business improvement initiatives within our Civil Services Department.

You will have the opportunity to;

• lead and supervise an outcomes-driven team of emerging technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring and professional development that fosters a high-performing and customer-focused culture
• serve as the primary custodian and subject matter expert for operational business systems, evaluating business requirements, prioritising system enhancement requests, assessing operational impacts, resource requirements and implementation priorities, and driving the continuous improvement of systems, technologies and business practices that support operational outcomes.
• drive business improvement initiatives through the development of policies, procedures and business processes that enhance system utilisation, operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes

About you

You will have;

A certifications in business intelligence, data analytics, asset management systems, or project management will be highly regarded.
