Job summary

Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) is seeking a confident Safety Professional to lead the development and delivery of safety strategies, systems and initiatives at our NSW Hunter Valley site. You will work with operational leaders to drive improvements and foster a positive safety culture through active engagement and clear communication.

Reporting to the Safety Superintendent, you will apply data analytics to identify trends and inform decisions, while maintaining the safety management system and

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Work, Health and Safety.
• Auditing qualification with demonstrated experience.
• Minimum 3 years working in a similar role.
• High level of computer literacy.
• A positive disposition with the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads, projects and conflicting priorities to achieve deadlines.
• Holds self and others to account.
• Authentic safety professional with a passion for results.
• Compelling communicator with the courage to challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities

Job Description
