Job summary

HCF is seeking a System Analyst to join our Diversified Platforms team to support applications enabling life insurance, payments and shared services. The role involves production support, system enhancements, defect fixes, releases and new product initiatives.

You will monitor incidents, analyze requirements, design practical solutions and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure system availability and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years’ experience in systems analysis or application support.
• Strong SQL capability to investigate data and troubleshoot issues.
• Some SSIS exposure is advantageous.
• Analytical, problem-solving, debugging skills.
• Experience with distributed/cloud-based applications.
• Understanding of relational DBs, SOA, REST or web services.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate with business users, analysts, developers and vendors.
• Life insurance, payments apps or production support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level application and production support.
• Monitor batches and investigate production incidents.
• Support and enhance shared-service applications across diversified platforms.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Analyze requirements and assess impacts for new/enhanced apps.

• Contribute to defects, releases, testing and implementation activities.
