Job summary

HCF seeks a System Analyst to join our Diversified Platforms team, supporting life insurance, payments, and shared services applications. You will help keep critical systems running and drive enhancements, defect fixes, and new product initiatives.

Responsibilities include monitoring production incidents, performing first-level support, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders, and analysing requirements for new solutions. Experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile methods is valued.

Qualifications

• Two to three years' experience in systems analysis or application/production support.
• SQL capability to investigate data and troubleshoot issues.
• Exposure to SSIS is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience supporting distributed/cloud-based applications.
• Understanding of databases, SOA, REST/web services and client-server tech.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Life insurance/payments/production support experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support One Office and other shared-service applications across HCF's platforms.
• Monitor batches and investigate production incidents.
• Provide first-level application and production support.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Analyse requirements and assess impacts for new/enhanced applications.
• Design practical system solutions aligned with business needs and architecture.
• Contribute to defect fixes, enhancements, releases and testing.
• Support project initiatives and new product launches.
• Maintain system availability, data integrity and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency.
