NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking a Systems Analyst to provide specialist Salesforce CRM support, admin, configuration and business analysis across the agency. You’ll work with users, vendors and tech teams to keep the platform reliable and evolving with business needs.

This hands-on role involves troubleshooting incidents, managing user access, testing new functionality, documenting requirements and supporting system releases.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise business systems, with Salesforce CRM experience highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and supporting testing, releases, integrations and system improvements.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering reliable, user-focused technology solutions.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
  • Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support, administration and configuration of the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, user requests synchronisation and integration errors, and other system issues to ensure reliable platform operation.
  • Configure workflows, forms, user access, security roles and system settings to support business requirements.
  • Work with business users to understand requirements, document solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support testing, deployment and validation activities for system upgrades, releases and enhancements.
  • Monitor integrations, data quality and system performance, escalating complex issues where required.
  • Develop and maintain support documentation, knowledge articles and user guidance materials.
  • Deliver responsive customer support and help drive continuous improvement of CRM capabilities and business processes.

Job description

  • Hybrid work environment on offer - Sydney or location negotiable across regional NSW
  • Salary ranging from $116,981 - $129,492pa + super
  • Play a key role in supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Salesforce CRM platform used across Local Land Services

As a Systems Analyst, you will provide specialist support, administration, configuration and business analysis services for Salesforce CRM and associated business systems. You will work directly with users, vendors and technical teams to ensure the platform operates effectively and continues to evolve to meet business needs.

This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting users and improving business processes through technology. You will be involved in everything from troubleshooting incidents and managing user access through to testing new functionality, documenting requirements and supporting system releases.

About the team

Local Land Services (LLS) is a regionally focused NSW Government agency delivering services to landholders and communities across New South Wales. LLS supports agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management and emergency services.

The role sits within the Digital & Data Solutions team supporting the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of the Salesforce CRM platform and other enterprise business systems.
