Job summary

Peoplebank is sourcing a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a leading Australian Government organisation on a 12-month contract with hybrid work. Based in Geelong or Richmond, you will work at least three days in the office each week.

You will develop, test, and support Salesforce solutions (LWC, Experience Cloud, Apex), collaborate with analysts and delivery teams, and help drive secure, accessible digital services while aligning with platform standards.

We are sourcinghighly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to work with a leading Australian Government organisation

This is a full-time, hybrid position, offering flexibility with a minimum of three days in the office each week, based in either Geelong or Richmond

The role is initially contracted for 12 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

As the selected candidate, you will:

• Develop, test, and support Salesforce solutions, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Experience Cloud, Apex, and platform configurations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, Solution Architects, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to developing secure, accessible, and maintainable digital services aligned with platform standards and user needs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise quality and delivery.
• Support integration activities between Salesforce and external systems through APIs and established patterns.
• Utilise modern development tools and practices to improve productivity and ensure efficient delivery.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Demonstrated experience developing Salesforce-based solutions within enterprise environments.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud, Apex, and Salesforce platform configuration.
• Proven ability to develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs.
• Experience delivering accessible digital services, applying accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
• Familiarity with source control, automated deployment, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

It is desirable if you have:

• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), including Integration Procedures and OmniStudio.
• Background supporting customer-facing digital services within government or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of other Salesforce platform capabilities like Service Cloud and associated digital service platforms.
