Job summary

Ramelius Resources Limited is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support, enhance and optimise digital systems across mining operations. You’ll collaborate with operational and technical stakeholders to ensure reliable information flows for planning, production, maintenance and performance reporting.

The role focuses on identifying process improvements, data quality, and user adoption across the mining value chain, enabling informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar in mining or heavy-industry environments.
• Experience supporting mining workflows, geology, resource modelling or production reporting.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven improvements.
• Provide expertise in system integrations, APIs, and data connectivity.
• Act as primary contact for mining and operational systems support.

The Role

As the Business Systems Analyst - Mining Operations, you will play a key role in supporting, enhancing and optimising the digital systems, data platforms and business processes that underpin Ramelius Resources' mining operations. Working closely with operational, technical and corporate stakeholders, you will help ensure our mining technology ecosystem delivers reliable, accurate and timely information to support planning, production, maintenance and business performance.

The role is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve business processes, system integration, data quality, reporting capabilities and user adoption across the mining value chain, enabling informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with operational and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Manage end-to-end system implementation projects from planning through to go-live.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, process maps, workflows, data models, and solution documentation.
• Support, optimise, and integrate core mining and business applications, including planning, geology, survey, maintenance, ERP, HSE, and BI platforms.
• Partner with Data specialist to enhance data models, dashboards, analytics, and self-service reporting capabilities.
• Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, system upgrades, and releases to ensure successful delivery.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement through automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical expertise in system integrations, APIs, and data connectivity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for mining and operational systems support and enhancement requests.

About You

You are a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who builds strong relationships and can confidently work with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be a clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical outcomes.

You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Systems Analyst, Mining Systems Analyst, Operational Applications Analyst or similar role.
• Experience supporting mining, geology, resource modelling, survey, production reporting, maintenance, or technical services systems.
• Practical exposure to geological modelling and planning applications.
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, preparing functional specifications and supporting system changes.
• Strong understanding of mining operations workflows, technical services processes, geological data management and mining systems support practices.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, UAT and go-live activities.

This is a diverse role, being newly created, you can make it your own. You will be based in our Perth City office working on a Monday-Friday basis. We are offering a competitive salary package which features a generous short-term incentive scheme.
