Responsibilities

• Planning and managing grade control, resource development, and near-mine exploration drill programs
• Providing accurate and timely end-of-month geology claims, reconciliation, and reporting (including QAQC)
• Delivering geological input into mine planning and scheduling to optimise value from the orebody
• Overseeing orebody modelling, wireframing and estimations aligned with operational needs
• Leading and mentoring a team of geologists and technicians to ensure safe and effective delivery
• Liaising with key stakeholders including Resource Geology, Mining and Metallurgy teams
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, heritage, statutory and financial obligations

About You

You\'re an experienced Geologist who enjoys leadership responsibilities, and have proven technical skills in open pit or underground gold mining environments.

You\'ll Also Bring

• Bachelor of Science in Geology, Geoscience or related field.
• Extensive open pit or underground geological experience, ideally within gold minerology systems.
• Proven expertise in overseeing teams to complete grade control, orebody modelling, QAQC and reconciliation activities.
• Strong knowledge of mining, health & safety, heritage, and statutory legislation.
• Sound planning, organisational and communication skills.
• WA “C” Class driver’s licence and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Desirable: Leadership/coaching skills, and First Aid Certificate.
