Balance Recruitment seeks an experienced Business Systems Administrator to own ERP, HRIS and related business applications in Sydney CBD. You will drive automation, integrations and process improvements while supporting Finance, HR and Operations stakeholders.

You will work with Deltek Vantagepoint and Employment Hero, with opportunities to explore other ERP/HRIS platforms. A hands-on, collaborative role with vendor management and continuous improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Experience administering ERP, HRIS or enterprise business applications.
• Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP plus Employment Hero experience is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, HR or Operations.

ERP, HRIS & Business Applications

Are you an experienced Business Systems Administrator who enjoys owning critical business applications, improving processes, and working closely with stakeholders across Finance, HR and Operations?

Our client is a highly regarded consulting engineering organisation with an impressive portfolio of major infrastructure, buildings, development and community projects across Australia. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a Business Systems Administrator to support and optimise their core business platforms while driving greater automation, integration and efficiency across the organisation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for the administration, support and continuous improvement of the organisation's ERP, HRIS and related business systems.

You'll act as the internal subject matter expert, ensuring systems are maintained, secure, integrated and aligned to evolving business requirements. This is a hands-on role combining systems administration, vendor management, user support, reporting, integrations and process improvement.

A Note on System Experience

The organisation currently utilises Deltek Vantagepoint and Employment Hero.

However, candidates with experience administering other ERP and HRIS platforms are strongly encouraged to apply.

We welcome applications from professionals with backgrounds supporting systems such as Deltek, Unanet, BQE, Total Synergy, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Pronto, etc and other HRIS systems.

What's most important is your ability to administer business-critical systems, improve processes, manage integrations and support stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration & Support

• Administer and support ERP, HRIS and related business applications (deltek Vantagepoint and Employment Hero)
• Manage user access, permissions, workflows and approval processes
• Provide Level 2/3 application support and troubleshooting
• Manage relationships with external software vendors and support partners

Integration & Automation

• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes
• Support integrations between HR, Finance and operational systems
• Monitor and resolve integration issues and data exceptions
• Improve system efficiency and reduce manual administration

Data Integrity & Compliance

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of business-critical data
• Ensure secure handling of payroll, employee and operational information
• Support data governance, privacy and compliance requirements

Reporting, Releases & Training

• Support system upgrades, releases and new functionality
• Develop user guides and training materials
• Deliver training and adoption support to business users
• Assist stakeholders to maximise the value of business applications

About You

You will bring:

• Experience administering ERP, HRIS or enterprise business applications
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or a similar project-based ERP system would be highly regarded as well as experience with Employment Hero (HRIS)
• Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, HR or Operations
• Experience supporting system integrations and data flows
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Vendor management experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency

Highly Regarded

• Experience within consulting, professional services, engineering, architecture, construction or project-based organisations
• Exposure to iPaaS/integration platforms such as Workato, Boomi or similar
• Experience supporting payroll and HRIS platforms
• Microsoft 365 administration and reporting capability
