Job summary

Jobtailor in Sydney, Australia is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will provide expert support for complex technical issues and lead Microsoft cloud implementations.

The role requires strong experience with Hyper‑V, Azure, Intune, Exchange Online and 365 apps, plus SIP troubleshooting and network security policy experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
• Strong ability to maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 cloud services and Windows Server.
• Experience with SIP, IP telephony, and network security policy implementation.

• Maintain and enhance Redox's IT infrastructure
• Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues
• Analyse, design, implement and manage software integrations
• Plan and manage system upgrades and new software implementations
• Maintain the Microsoft Hyper‑V server environment
• Monitor network health and fixed and mobile devices
• Manage network infrastructure, including DNS, routers, switches and firewall policies
• Maintain Microsoft Exchange Online, Active Directory, Group Policy and DFS
• Support and troubleshoot the IP telephony and VOIP system
• Lead implementation work across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based technologies

Requirements

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Systems Administrator
• Extensive experience managing and maintaining physical server and virtual infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper‑V nodes and virtual machines
• Proven experience implementing, supporting and delivering projects using Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Autopilot, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams and Azure Arc
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience troubleshooting SIP and ensuring the reliability of the IP telephony system
• Experience managing FortiGate firewalls and implementing firewall policies desirable
• Experience with backup and restore, patching and system maintenance
• Experience with monitoring tools, ideally PRTG
