Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to act as the technical escalation point for the Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence in Australia. You will guide customers toward adoption, enable productivity outcomes across identity, security and collaboration, and deliver technical solutions across data, files, and communications.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and AzureAD identity management, with Baseline or NV1

Qualifications

Baseline Clearance or NV1 Clearance required.
Extensive hands-on Microsoft 365 Engineer experience.
Strong knowledge of core Office 365 collaboration services.

Serve as the technical escalation point for Datacom’s Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence
Deliver a first-class experience for consumers of Modern Workplace services
Guide the business and customers toward adoption and continuous improvement of the Microsoft 365 stack
Enable Microsoft 365 and productivity outcomes across data, files, communications, collaboration, security, identity, and access management
Deliver technical solutions to clients across Australia
Work with Microsoft identity management technologies
Support Office 365 collaboration tools and services
Support collaboration and video conferencing solutions and ancillary systems
Work with email security and archive technologies
Collaborate with customers, business teams, and the Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence

Requirements

Australian Citizenship required
Eligibility for Baseline or NV1 Clearance
Previous experience in an ICT Professional Services organisation
Extensive hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer
Extensive knowledge of core collaboration services in Office 365
Experience with Exchange Online Mailbox Management
Experience with Exchange Online Protection
Experience with Microsoft Teams
Experience with SharePoint Online
Experience with OneDrive for Business
Extensive knowledge of AzureAD identity management and related objects, including users, traditional groups, Office 365 Groups, devices, and guest users
Working knowledge of AzureAD identity and authentication technologies, including Azure AD Connect, Password Hash Sync, Pass-through Authentication, Seamless SSO, ADFS, Azure MFA, and SSPR
Knowledge of Microsoft identity management, including AzureAD, AD Connect, ADFS, and Microsoft Identity Manager
Knowledge of Office 365 collaboration tools, including Teams, Planner, Groups, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Yammer
Knowledge of collaboration and video conferencing solutions including Teams, Poly, Cisco, and Zoom
Working knowledge of competitor solutions in relevant IT platforms
Knowledge of email security and archive technologies, including Office 365 ATP/EOP, Mimecast, and AvePoint
