Job summary

The role requires a degree in IT and 1–2 years’ experience in systems administration, with strong AD, firewall, and cybersecurity knowledge for fast-paced retail logistics environments.

Qualifications

• Completion of a tertiary qualification in IT or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years in systems administration or IT environment support.
• Strong knowledge of AD, firewalls, server admin, and security practices.
• Ability to manage multi-site tech requirements in a retail/logistics setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain corporate servers, cloud environments, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Implement and manage network security protocols, access controls, and encryption policies.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and software patch deployments to minimise downtime.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot escalations across sites.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network maps and security assets.

Lucky White Goods Pty Ltd is an expanding retail and appliance enterprise operating multi-site warehouses and physical storefronts across AUSTRALIA. We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Systems Administrator to oversee, secure, and optimize our growing internal IT infrastructure, network architecture, and database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain corporate servers, cloud environments, and core local area networks (LAN/WAN) connecting our head office and warehouse locations.
• Implement and manage robust network security protocols, firewalls, user access controls, and data encryption policies to safeguard retail transaction records.
• Oversee regular system backups, disaster recovery protocols, and software patch deployments to prevent downtime across operations.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, or connectivity escalations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network maps, system configurations, and security assets.

Key Skills & Qualifications Required

• Completion of a tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a closely related field (Master’s degree specializing in Network Security is highly regarded).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional experience in systems administration, network infrastructure maintenance, or IT environment support.
• Strong working knowledge of firewall management, active directory, server administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multi-site technical requirements in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment.
