Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Specialist, Systems Administrator to support our Australia-based Managed Services program in Melbourne. You will manage data centre administration, server provisioning and capacity planning, and implement upgrades and service enhancements to maximise uptime.

You will work with ServiceNow, Splunk, Riverbed and other tools, applying network management expertise to support Airservices Australia and national security programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, IT, CS with networking focus; 4+ years experience; 8+ years without degree.
• Ability to develop detailed implementation documentation.
• Ability to impart knowledge and train others.
• Able to obtain AGSVA Security Clearance to baseline and NV1.
• Ability to support on-call responsibilities and work after hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Managing IP network management COTS solutions on Windows and Linux VMs in a virtualized environment.
• Deploying, configuring, and integrating COTS such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Riverbed, Infoblox, Grafana.
• Designing and implementing new enterprise systems to meet evolving program needs.
• Collaborating with other engineering groups to maintain and resolve issues in IP NMS, servers and apps.
• Interacting with vendors for issue resolution.
