Job summary

SSI SCHAEFER is seeking a System Integration Manager to lead integration across automation projects, coordinating with project managers, engineers, suppliers and customers from early design through go-live. The role requires strong expertise in system integration and hands-on experience with automation environments.

You will ensure interfaces are aligned with customer needs, manage risks, and provide technical oversight during commissioning, testing and acceptance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in system integration, automation engineering or system integration management.
• Project delivery experience in automated warehouses, manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and work with customers and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture and design.
• Experience managing technical risks and troubleshooting integration issues.
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Take technical lead on system integration across automation projects from design to commissioning and go-live.
• Identify risks and manage integration issues to minimise impact on delivery and operations.
• Provide oversight through commissioning, testing and customer acceptance.
• Support customers through training, go-live and ramp-up.
• Mentor engineers developing their integration capability.
