Job summary

Tate is seeking a Warehouse Manager to own Sydney operations based at Eastern Creek with travel to Marsden Park and Smithfield warehouses. You will oversee receiving, storage, dispatch and inventory control to support manufacturing and project delivery.

You will lead a hands-on team, drive safety and continuous improvement, and partner with Manufacturing and Purchasing to ensure timely material movement and accurate stock records using the ERP/WMS system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ leadership or management experience in manufacturing, production or warehousing.
• Strong inventory management experience including cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Experience leading and developing warehouse teams in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Sydney warehouse operations (Eastern Creek base) including receiving, put-away, storage, transfers, picking, packing, dispatch.
• Be actively involved on the floor to resolve issues and maintain standards.
• Plan labour, workflow and daily priorities to meet manufacturing and project needs.
• Develop layouts and processes to improve space utilisation, safety and productivity.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Projects and Purchasing to ensure material availability and timely movement.
