Job summary

Tate Asia Pacific in Sydney seeks a hands-on Warehouse Manager to own warehouse operations across Sydney, ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient movement of materials and finished goods.

You will lead a team on the warehouse floor, optimize space and workflows, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role collaborates with Manufacturing, Projects and Purchasing to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ leadership or management experience in large-scale or multi-site manufacturing, production, or distribution warehousing.
• Hands-on leadership with proven ability to lead in a fast-paced operation.
• Strong inventory management knowledge including cycle counting, stock reconciliation and traceability.
• Experience leading and developing warehouse teams with visible, hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across Sydney, including receiving, put-away, storage, internal transfers, picking, packing, dispatch and distribution.
• Plan labour, workflow and daily priorities to meet manufacturing, project and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain warehouse layouts, storage systems and material-flow processes for space utilisation, safety and productivity.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Projects and Purchasing to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods.
• Manage relationships with transport providers, suppliers and subcontractors to support cost-effective logistics.
• Lead, coach and develop Warehouse Team Leaders and warehouse staff, creating a positive, accountable culture.
