Job summary

JFC Advisory is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee a multi-site quick-service restaurant network across Sydney. The role is primarily field-based with regular travel, reporting to the Managing Director and leading Store Managers to achieve performance and standards.

You will work with franchisees and support teams to address issues, improve store results and deliver key initiatives while maintaining governance and safety across the network.

Qualifications

• Multisite management experience in QSR, hospitality or similar.
• Experience leading Store Managers or equivalent teams.
• Proven track record in labour and cost control, and store performance.
• Experience conducting store audits or operational reviews.
• Experience working with franchisees or owner-operators.
• Strong capability development and people leadership.
• Ability to use operational reporting and POS systems effectively.
• Good judgement and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance of Sydney store network via Store Managers.
• Maintain regular presence across stores and ensure standards.
• Review sales, labour, COGS, rostering, ordering and waste.
• Conduct regular store reviews, audits and spot checks.
• Identify issues and follow through with corrective actions.
• Build Store Manager capability in leadership and operations.
• Monitor food safety, WHS, brand standards and store requirements.
• Collaborate with franchisees and store operators on performance matters.
• Implement Head Office initiatives and promotions network-wide.
• Inform Managing Director of performance and issues.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Finance and Marketing on supply and matters.
• Support new store openings and transitions.
• Provide recommendations on staffing, training and process improvements.
