Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant in Sydney for a 12-month, full-time contract. You will lead end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior engineering roles across NSW & ACT, partnering with leaders to shape hiring strategies and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Based in our North Sydney office with two days in the office, you will source, assess and engage top talent using diverse methods, while balancing volume and quality in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success recruiting mid to senior-level professionals ideally within engineering technical environments.
• Proven ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities and deliver results.
• Confidence partnering with business managers and senior leaders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working with recruitment systems and ATS platforms (Workday experience preferred).
• Confidence and curiosity using and exploring AI-enabled tools, data insights and process improvements to drive smarter, more efficient recruitment outcomes.
• An agile approach, with the ability to pivot quickly as hiring demands and market conditions evolve.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior roles across Engineering portfolios in NSW & ACT.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored, high-quality hiring strategies.
• Proactively source, engage and assess high-quality talent using a range of direct, market-led and innovative approaches.
• Balance volume and complexity in a fast-paced recruitment environment while maintaining quality outcomes.
• Provide market insights, guidance and best-practice recruitment advice to stakeholders.
• Leverage recruitment systems, emerging technology, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency and candidate experience.
• Ensure strong governance, process compliance and an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
