Job summary

The Bays West Delivery Authority invites applications for Project Manager Civil and Infrastructure in Sydney. This ongoing, full-time role (35 hours over 5 days) leads civil infrastructure and utilities for a major urban renewal precinct, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants and delivery partners from inception to delivery.

You will shape delivery strategies, manage budgets and risk, and contribute to master plans and business cases while working with government stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Significant practical experience designing and delivering civil infrastructure for mixed-use urban developments.
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects through planning, procurement and assurance.
• Strong commercial expertise and a collaborative approach to negotiating contracts, servicing agreements and financial structures.
• Ability to build strategic relationships across government, utility providers and industry, securing alignment and timely approvals.
• Experience developing delivery strategies, business cases and implementation plans, supported by budget forecasting.
• Proven track record in cost-centre management, project controls, governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of civil infrastructure and utilities for complex, multi-million-dollar developments across the Bays West precinct.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and delivery partners from inception to completion.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, governance and reporting to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Develop servicing strategies and establish agreements with utility providers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to master plans, business cases and implementation plans to align with precinct objectives.
