Job summary

Bays West Delivery Authority is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead complex mixed-use development and urban renewal initiatives from strategy through to procurement and delivery in Sydney. The role offers broad exposure across the development lifecycle and close collaboration with government stakeholders.

You will coordinate planning, design, commercial, financial and construction teams to balance community value with commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in property development or urban renewal.
• Experience delivering major mixed-use developments.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage mixed-use development and urban renewal projects from strategy to delivery.
• Develop and implement project strategies integrating planning, design, commercial, financial, construction and community aspects.
• Lead feasibility analysis, budgeting and value optimisation for informed investment decisions.
• Oversee procurement, appointment and performance of development partners, consultants and contractors.
• Navigate planning, statutory and government approvals processes.
• Prepare high-quality advice for senior executives and decision-makers.
• Establish governance, reporting and internal controls.
• Drive project outcomes through leadership and problem-solving.
