Job summary

Travellers Autobarn is hiring a Sydney Branch Manager to lead a hands-on team, manage a fleet, and drive operations that keep customers on the move. You’ll mentor a small crew, troubleshoot vehicle issues, and maintain service excellence across daily branch activities.

The role rewards leadership with a $75,000 base salary plus super, plus uncapped commissions on insurance and add-ons, plus a $500 monthly KPI bonus. OTE exceeds $85,000 with strong performance and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Must have Full Australian working rights.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence.
• Strong practical, mechanical, or handyman skills.
• Confidence leading people and taking responsibility.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Comfort using computers, apps, and administration systems.
• Genuine interest in growing with the business.
• Experience in automotive, campervans, rentals, tourism, or hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Skills in 12V electrical systems, cabinetry, or vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Sydney branch.
• Lead, train, and develop a small team.
• Ensure our campervan fleet is safe, clean, maintained, and ready for the road.
• Carry out practical campervan repairs, including 12V systems, cabinetry, windows, and appliance fittings, within your skills and training.
• Coordinate mechanical repairs, servicing, tyres, windscreens, and panel work.
• Deliver excellent customer service and solve problems as they arise.
• Manage branch KPIs, maintenance records, suppliers, and operating expenses.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Drive sales of insurance, optional extras, and campervans.
