Job summary

Cloudflare in Sydney is seeking a Manager, Customer Engineering to enable the team, coach members, shadow prospects with customers, and ensure workloads are distributed evenly. You will partner with regional leads and sales leaders to drive revenue targets while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence across the group.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering and Customer Support to build scalable solutions, mentor engineers, handle escalations, and recruit new talent.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively manage and grow a customer engineering team.
• Experience leading pre-sales teams in the ANZ market.
• Proven track record in coaching, leadership and handling escalations.
• Experience driving PoC close wins and meeting sales quotas.

Responsibilities

• Manage team workload and priorities.
• Conduct regular 1:1s with team members.
• Act as escalation point for team issues.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new team members.
• Report on individual CE strengths and development.
• Maintain key customer relationships in the territory.
