Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Flight Clerk to coordinate and support the movement of domestic and international freight while ensuring compliance with airline, customs, quarantine, safety, and airport regulations.

You will provide administrative, operational, and customer service support through documentation, invoicing, reporting, and freight coordination activities. The role requires strong attention to safety and regulations and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Role Purpose

The Flight Clerk is responsible for coordinating and supporting the efficient movement of domestic and international freight while ensuring compliance with airline, customs, quarantine, safety, and airport regulations. The role provides administrative, operational, and customer service support through accurate documentation, invoicing, transaction processing, reporting, and freight coordination activities.

What you will be doing

• Maintain a strong safety culture within the workplace driving OH&S awareness.
• Work without direct supervision.
• Ensure that productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion or regular performance assessment reports.
• Ascertain daily work schedules and allocate specific tasks to meet daily work objectives in a designated group.
• Carry out various administrative functions and reporting duties, plus demonstrate good computer and communication skills.
