Menzies Aviation in Brisbane is seeking a reliable forklift operator to join our cargo handling team. You will operate tow motors and forklifts, enter and retrieve data on a computer terminal, and assist with freight sortation while following safety policies.

Applicants must hold a current LF forklift licence, demonstrate a respectful, proactive approach, and be flexible to changing priorities. This full-time role offers stable shifts at our Brisbane site.

Role Purpose

Deliver high performance standards around all aspects of cargo handling, meeting the requirements of our customers and maintaining health and safety and overall good working practices in accordance with company policies and procedures at all times.

What you will be doing

• Operate equipment and vehicles including tow motors and forklifts in accordance with safe operating procedures.
• Use basic knowledge of keyboard and function keys to enter and retrieve data through computer terminal/personal computer and operate printing devices.
• Undertake all relevant freight sortation duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out area hazard checks.
• Perform basic serviceability and maintenance check of vehicles and/or equipment including refuelling of vehicles.
