Job summary

Fuji SMBE Macquarie in Prestons, Southern Sydney, is hiring Assembly Production Team Members for a hands-on manufacturing role. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to build high-quality electrical switchboards, with full training provided.

Reporting to the Factory Foreman, duties include assembling frames with battery tools, installing busbar and components, packing finished products, and keeping stores stocked to keep the line running smoothly.

About the Role

Working as an Assembly Production Team Member, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to manufacture high-quality electrical switchboards. Reporting to the Factory Foreman, your responsibilities are varied & may include:

Assembling modular switchboard frames using company-supplied battery tools

Installing busbar and electrical components into switchboards

General hand working to package completed products ready for dispatch.

Stores work in ensuring the production line has all the parts required for assembly.

For those applicants with LF Forklift licenses, loading of trucks maybe included in your role.

Working safely and contributing to a positive team environment

The role involves working on your feet and some regular manual handling tasks, including lifting components up to approximately 10kg.
