Job summary

Fuji SMBE Macquarie is growing its Electrical Assembly Production Team at Prestons, NSW. We’re seeking experienced Electrical Fitters, MCC Panel Wirers and Switchboard Assemblers who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in quality.

You’ll work in a modern, clean indoor factory with a 5-day week (7:00am–3:06pm), training and ongoing support, and a safety-focused, team-oriented culture. Applicants must have unrestricted work rights and be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and wire from schematic diagrams.
• Experience with switchboard assembly or MCC wiring is preferred.
• Must have unrestricted work rights and be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Assembling modular switchboard frames using hand tools and battery tools.
• Installing busbar and electrical components into switchboards.

About the Role

As part of our Electrical Assembly Production Team, you’ll work alongside a supportive group to manufacture high-quality electrical switchboards. Reporting to the Factory Foreman, your responsibilities may include:

• Assembling modular switchboard frames using company-supplied battery tools
• Installing busbar and electrical components into switchboards
• Carry out Control / Panel wiring from schematic diagrams.
• Following the assembly processes with care and attention to detail
• Working safely and contributing to a positive team environment

The role involves working on your feet and some regular manual handling tasks, including lifting components up to approximately 10kg.

• Must have previous experience with workshop hand tools eg. battery drills, screwdrivers, drilling holes & tapping threads.
• Previous experience with assembling modular switchboard systems is essential.
• Must have good communication with a good understanding of written & verbal English, be reliable, motivated, and willing to learn

We are located in modern facilities at Prestons NSW.
