Job summary

Arnolds Swim Centre in Newcastle's The Junction area is seeking Learn to Swim teachers and coaching staff to join our year-round indoor program. We offer lessons seven days a week, mornings and afternoons, with additional school-hours slots available during terms.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, caring, and reliable. A current Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR are essential; certifications (Swim Australia, Royal Life, AUSTSWIM) are welcome, and training is paid to support your

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about teaching swimming to children.
• Reliable and able to work a range of days and times.
• Willing to train if not certified in Learn to Swim.
• Working with children checks and First Aid/CPR are required before start.

Responsibilities

• Teach Learn to Swim lessons and coaching under supervision.
• Assist with school group lessons during school hours if required.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming pool environment for students.
• Commit to minimum 15 hours per week and attend shifts as scheduled.

Swimming Instructor / Learn To Swim Teachers and Coaching Staff Required

Learn to Swim Teachers and Coaches requiredto join our exclusive Learn to Swim Program for an immediate start

We are an Indoor Swim Centre and run swimming lessons all year round (Summer/Winter and also throughout school holidays)

We are looking for passionate people to join our team for a range of days and times such as our everyday swimming lessons that are offered to our students 7 days a week morning and afternoons so lots of potential to work with us at times that suit your schedule

We currently have school group lessons so can offer during school hours work if required

There are additional hours available within School Terms 1,3 and 4 between 12.30 and 2.30pm

We are looking for people interesting in working a minimum of 15 Hours per week

Working with children a kind, Caring and Nurturing nature is required

A currentWorking with Children Check (paid work) and First Aid/CPR Certificate isessential before starting

Swim Australia, Royal Life and AUSTSWIM certifications are all welcome

If you do not hold a Learn to Swim Qualification that's no problem as we can point you in the right direction and you'll be paid to train, and extra incentives are offered at the completion of your first year working with us here at Arnolds
