Job summary

Pacific Swim School is seeking an energetic Experienced Swim Instructor to join our weekend team, with shifts during the week available. You will deliver lessons to babies, toddlers and children in a private indoor facility, focusing on safe, enjoyable progression.

The ideal candidate has NSW Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications, WWC clearance and CPR, and a passion for working with kids and parents in a supportive learning environment. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in swim teaching or childcare/teaching industry.
• Hold current qualifications recognised in NSW as a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (Austswim / Royal Life Saving / Swim Australia).
• Hold a WWC clearance and current CPR, or willing to obtain these.
• Ability to work with children.
• Skills in helping kids to stay on task.
• Great communicator - you enjoy talking to people and are able to establish a good rapport with parents and children.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Ideally experience with baby lessons, however, we can offer training if not.
