Job summary

Waterworx Swim Centre in Maitland, NSW is seeking a positive Learn to Swim Teacher to join our supportive team. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, help children build confidence in the water and develop essential water safety skills. Casual or part-time hours, with Saturdays often available, offer flexibility while you help every swimmer progress.

We value friendly, patient, team-oriented staff who communicate well with children and parents and bring energy to lessons. Training support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Learn to Swim teaching qualification (AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia or Royal Life Saving).
• Current CPR certificate.
• NSW Working With Children Check.

About the Role

As a Learn to Swim Teacher, you’ll deliver fun, engaging swimming lessons while helping children develop their water safety, confidence and swimming skills. You’ll be part of a supportive team focused on creating a positive experience for every child and family who comes through our doors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants will need to hold, or be willing and eligible to obtain:

• A recognised Learn to Swim teaching qualification, such as AUSTSWIM, Swim Australia or Royal Life Saving
• A current CPR certificate
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check

Hours & Employment

Casual and part-time positions are available for the right candidates.

Hours can be flexible depending on your availability, ranging from as little as one regular shift per week through to multiple shifts per week.
