Job summary

Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre is seeking energetic Swim School Instructors to lead swimming lessons for a diverse group of children and adults. The role emphasizes water safety, clear communication and a positive learning atmosphere.

Successful applicants will hold required first aid, CPR, and background checks, with Austswim certification preferred; availability mornings, evenings or weekends is advantageous for a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR are essential.
• Working With Children Check and National Police Check are required.
• Current AUSTSWIM Certificate or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

The Role

Wollondilly Community Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

TheSwim School Instructordelivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Skills & Attributes:

• Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

Qualifications
