Job summary

LiveHire Limited is seeking a passionate Learn to Swim Instructor to teach swimming to students of all ages. You will plan engaging lessons, maintain a safe environment and provide progress feedback.

Ideal candidates will hold current swimming teaching qualifications, WWCC, and valid First Aid/ CPR. Weekend and early-morning availability is often required to accommodate schedules.

Qualifications

• Must hold current recognised swimming teaching qualification.
• Must have valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• WWCC or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for teaching.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learn to Swim Instructor to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will teach swimming skills to students of all ages and abilities, helping them build confidence and competence in the water.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
• Ensure all pool safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievements

Requirements

• Current and recognised swimming teaching qualification
• Valid first aid and CPR certification
• Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching
• Ability to work weekends and early mornings as required
• Previous experience teaching swimming is highly regarded
