Job summary

Swim4Life Swim School is seeking experienced swimming teachers in Melbourne to deliver high-quality lessons in a heated MagnaPool mineral pool. You will work with small classes of up to four children, helping them gain confidence and life-saving water skills.

Qualified teachers with AUSTSWIM/ASCTA and CPR certification are essential. Prior teaching experience is desirable, and you will collaborate with managers to ensure smooth program operation.

Qualifications

• Industry qualifications AUSTSWIM, ASCTA, Working with Children and CPR are essential.
• Experience in teaching is desirable.
• Be able to relate to children and parents.
• Open to new ideas and Swim4Life methods.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to small classes of up to four children.
• Teach in a purpose built, body friendly heated mineral pool.
• Help pupils gain confidence and joy in water.
• Contribute to program success by working with managers for smooth operation.
• Build bonds with pupils and their families.
• Deliver semi-private high-quality lessons and share teaching ideas.

As a committed swimming teacher you have the ability to not only give a child a life long life saving skill you also have the ability to raise their overall confidence levels which spill over into their everyday activities and life.

Experienced swimming teachers such as yourself know how important being able to swim is for a child and we are looking for you to apply for this position because of the body friendly mineral pool you will get to work in. Gone are the skin issues andbrittlehair. Come and join our team.

Experience teachers will be paid $30 per hour plus super.
