Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a Project Manager to lead medium to large capital works across the Sunshine Coast region. You will oversee planning, procurement and delivery, coordinating internal teams, consultants and contractors to achieve high-quality outcomes for our communities.

You will bring strong commercial and financial acumen, proven project delivery experience in infrastructure, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, time and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium to large-scale infrastructure or capital works within complex environments.
• Strong commercial, financial and project delivery expertise.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while achieving time and budget objectives.
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders across diverse projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of medium to large capital works projects from planning to completion.
• Manage project budgets, procurement activities and contract administration.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Prepare project plans, status reports and communication strategies to support successful outcomes.
