Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and delivery of medium to large infrastructure and capital works projects across the region.

You will partner with stakeholders, consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes that benefit residents and visitors, from feasibility through procurement and construction to delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium to large capital works or infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or related discipline.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of medium to large capital works projects from planning to completion.
• Manage project budgets, procurement activities and contract administration.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Prepare project plans, status reports and communication strategies.
