Bellingen Shire Council is seeking a Development and Compliance professional for a 12-month parental leave relief. You will assess development applications, provide planning advice to community and industry, and support continuous improvement of assessment processes.
The role requires tertiary planning qualifications, eligibility for Planning Institute of Australia membership, and experience with NSW planning legislation.
Competenze
- Tertiary qualifications in Planning or related discipline
- Eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia, or plan to obtain membership
- Experience in development assessment and a sound understanding of relevant NSW planning and environmental legislation
Mansioni
- Assess and process development applications in accordance with legislation, Council policies and statutory requirements.
- Provide professional planning advice to the community, development industry and Council staff.
- Support sustainable development outcomes and contribute to improving development assessment processes
