Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our Bathurst NSW operation, overseeing a team of 30+ across operations, admin, and subcontractors. You will drive safety, compliance, and peak operational performance across Bathurst, Dubbo, and Mudgee regions.

You will lead day-to-day activities, align fleet maintenance, coach leaders, and manage P&L to achieve stretch targets, while fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 30+ staff across operations and admin.
• Strong fleet management and maintenance knowledge.
• Proven ability to drive safety, compliance and performance.
• Experience managing P&L and costs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and full compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Law.
• Oversee staff and fleet activities, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, compliant, and operating effectively.
• Coach, mentor, and empower your team to reach operational KPIs and uphold strong safety standards.
• Champion a safety-first culture, proactively managing safety initiatives, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage branch financial performance, including P&L oversight, cost control, and driving operational results.
• Coordinate workshop and fleet maintenance, working closely with third-party contractors to ensure timely and compliant servicing.
