Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead our sustainability strategy, framework and action plans across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager - Strategy, you will guide development, execution and reporting of initiatives that support BaptistCare’s commitment to net zero by 2050 or before and our Reconciliation Action Plan.

This is a highly influential role that embeds sustainability into corporate strategy, requiring collaboration across BaptistCare to set goals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental, social or governance discipline is preferred.
• At least 10 years in a senior sustainability role.
• Strong knowledge of environmental, social and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BaptistCare’s sustainability strategy, framework and action plans.
• Guide development, execution and reporting of initiatives supporting net zero by 2050.
• Provide clear reporting to Executive Team and Board on progress and metrics.
• Embed sustainability into corporate strategy and decision-making across the organisation.
• Identify risks and opportunities and establish meaningful KPIs and metrics.
• Partner across the organisation to drive responsible growth and engagement.
