Job summary

Liontown is seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our growing underground mining team. This full-time, site-based role operates on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, with Dragonfly Village accommodation.

You will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor and handle surveys, calculations and reporting to deliver accurate data for safe mining operations. The ideal candidate holds tertiary surveying qualifications, a Mine Surveyors certificate, and experience with GNSS, RPAS, Total Stations and

Qualifications

• Mandatory tertiary qualifications in surveying or comparable experience.
• Grade 1 or 2 Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (not essential).
• C Class manual license required.
• Experience using surveying equipment (GNSS, RPAS, Total Stations, Laser Scanners).
• Experience using mine planning software (Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac).
• Knowledge of mining practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards in Australia.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have National Police Clearance within last 6 months or ability to obtain one.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveys, calculations and reporting to provide accurate survey data for underground mining operations.
• Ensure timely survey outputs to support safe and efficient operations.
• Support mine planning and regulatory compliance with survey data.

About The Role

Liontown is seeking applications for Underground Mine Surveyors to join our growing underground mining team. This will be a full time, site based permanent opportunity working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth and staying in our modern Dragonfly Village. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will be responsible for performing all surveys, calculations and reporting activities to provide accurate and timely survey data essential to safe and efficient underground mining operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join our mining department as we continue through full-production ramp-up. We have a world-class underground operation with a 23 year mine life mining at 4Mtpa.

About You

• Tertiary level qualifications in surveying or comparable experience.
• Grade 1 or 2 Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate (not essential).
• C Class manual license.
• Experience using surveying equipment (GNSS, RPAS, Total Stations, Laser Scanners, etc).
• Experience using mine planning software (Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, etc).
• Knowledge of mining practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards in Australia.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or can obtain one.
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
