Job summary

Evolution Mining Ltd. is seeking a Mine Surveyor (Underground) at Cowal Operations to support safe, efficient underground mining through accurate surveying data and modern digital workflows.

You will work with Operations and Geology to deliver survey set outs, monitor ground movement, and contribute to long-term mine development using Deswik, drones, and LiDAR. The role, based at Cowal and reporting to the Senior Mining Surveyor, offers an 8:6 roster and a strong focus on safety, collaboration,

Qualifications

• A recognised Surveying qualification (TAFE, Diploma or tertiary).
• Experience working in underground mining or a similar surveying environment.
• Exposure to modern survey instrumentation and digital survey practices.
• Experience with, or interest in developing capability in, Deswik software.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Australian working rights and a desire to continue growing your career in mining.

What’s the opportunity?

Build your career underground while working with some of the mining industry's most advanced survey technology. As a Mine Surveyor (Underground), you'll play a critical role in supporting safe and efficient underground mining operations while developing your expertise in modern survey practices, digital workflows and emerging technologies.

Working an 8:6 roster, you'll enjoy genuine work life balance while contributing to one of Australia's premier gold mining operations. You'll be part of a collaborative Technical Services team, working closely with Operations and Geology to support both daily production activities and longer-term mine development projects.
