Job summary

Charles Hull Contracting is seeking a skilled Surge Pile Dozer Operator for the South32 Boddington Bauxite Mine in Western Australia. You will operate a CAT D10T dozer to safely manage ore on the surge pile and maintain a consistent feed to belt feeders, while supporting fixed plant operations as needed.

The role follows a 28-day roster (day and night shifts) with site-based work and competitive hourly rates including penalties and allowances.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating CAT D10 Dozer or equivalent.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with client personnel and represent CHC professionally.
• Experience in production mining or fixed plant environment is desirable.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence (HR desirable).
• Safety focused mindset and solid work ethic.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

About the Role: Reporting to the South32 Fixed Plant Supervisor this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Surge Pile Dozer Operator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for operating a Cat D10T dozer to safely manage ore on the surge pile, maintaining a consistent feed to the belt feeders and supporting fixed plant operations as required.

Roster & Location: 28-day/night Sportsman Roster, 2 days 2 nights on, 5 days off, 2 days 3 nights on, 4 days off, 3 days 2 nights on, 5 days off, working day and night shift 06:15 to 18:30 and 18:15 to 06:30. Based at the South 32 Boddington Bauxite Mine.

About you:

• You will have demonstrated experience on operating CAT D10 Dozer or equivalent.


• Ability to build positive working relationships with client personnel while representing CHC in a professional manner.


• Experience working in a production mining or fixed plant environment (desirable)


• Current Australian Drivers Licence (HR is desirable)

What we offer:

• Competitive hourly rates: Full time $36.60 – $38.60/hour with penalties, night shift allowance, plus $5/hour site allowance and $5/hour incentive payment.
