Charles Hull Contracting is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Western Australian team. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose engine and system faults, and overhaul diesel engines on a large mobile fleet, with a focus on CAT & Komatsu equipment.

The role is based at the Waroona Workshop with a 5 on/2 off roster and offers competitive hourly rates plus career development. Safety is a core value and onboarding includes medical/drug screening.

Qualificações

• Hold a national Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology.
• Experience servicing heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• HRWL – LF, WP, CN, DG and heights awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventative maintenance on a large mobile fleet.
• Diagnose engine and systems problems and repair components.
• Overhaul diesel engines and related equipment.
• Work on CAT and Komatsu heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Based at the Waroona Workshop and ensure safe operations.

About the Role:

Reporting to the HD Maintenance Supervisor this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative maintenance, diagnosing engine & systems problems and repairing & overhauling diesel engines and components on a large mobile fleet with experience working on CAT & Komatsu Heavy Earthmoving equipment is essential.

Roster & Location:

5 days on 2 days off (Mon to Fri) based at the Waroona Workshop

About you:

• Hold a Nationally recognised Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining heavy earthmoving machinery
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals
• Safety focussed mindset with a solid work ethic
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• HRWL – LF, WP, CN, DG
• Work safely at heights
• Previous experience with Pronto
• Certificate II in Automotive air conditioning technology

• Competitive hourly rates: Full time $55 – $65 per hour or Casual $65 – $78 per hour
