Job summary

Glencore International AG is seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer for the Rolleston Open Cut in Central Queensland. You will work with production teams to optimise equipment allocation and provide real-time fleet data to support operations, reporting statistics across departments.

The role requires experience with large mining equipment and fleet software, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large mining equipment.
• Experience using Fleet Management Software (Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, Terrain).
• High computer literacy skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the mining industry.
• Promoting and maintaining a high level of safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production Supervisors to optimise equipment allocation to meet plan.
• Monitor mining fleet and provide real-time data for operations.
• Collect, validate and report production statistics with other departments.
• Monitor radio, radar, and high-precision systems for safety and efficiency.
